Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team in Malaysia. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for performing and executing the quality and integrity of our tax methodology and quality control that applied to every client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare tax computations and filing of tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
  2. Assist or perform on Tax Advisory/planning assignments.
  3. Coach and guide team members on tax projects.
  4. Assist the Tax Manager in monitoring engagements.
  5. Any other assignments and tasks from the superior deemed appropriate and relevant.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong drive to excel professionally.
  4. Demonstrated success in adapting to a work environment of professional staff.
  5. Team player.
  6. Prefer full or partial membership in any relevant professional bodies.
  7. Excellent communication and people management/development skills.
  8. Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  9. Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  10. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Eligibility

Candidates must be residents of Malaysia or have the right to work in Malaysia.
