Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of all required materials and services.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to meet operational needs without overstocking, implementing effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Purchasing Budget Management: Develop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits, and working closely with department heads to understand their purchasing needs and ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet our quality standards, maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices and manage any discrepancies, while maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational and time management skills, and knowledge of hotel operations and inventory management.
