Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement, sourcing, and purchasing functions, including supplier selection, quality management, and pricing negotiations.
  • Review and improve procurement processes, monitor inventory, and analyze market trends to implement innovative procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and marketing teams to support new product development and optimization of existing formulations.
  • Manage governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies.
Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree or equivalent expertise, and detailed knowledge of ERP System.
  • Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and ISO FSSC 22000 is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in procurement in the FMCG industry or in food manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Independent and able to manage various stakeholders, good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
