About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager, Quality Systems and Engineering to join our team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) processes and knowledge of QMS standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Management System Management
  • Monitor, review, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS and its processes.
  • Ensure compliance to standards.
  • Contribute to planning and review of QMS.
Communication with Global Customers
  • Consult with department leadership on QMS Standards and initiatives.
  • Promote awareness of QMS direction and status through global updates.
  • Contribute to the promotion and awareness of customer requirements.
Champion of Quality Improvement Program
  • Identify areas of opportunity to drive continual improvement towards zero defects.
  • Serve as site representative in participating in critical network improvement programs.
Technical Leadership and Support
  • Maintain knowledge of QMS standards, methods, and tools.
  • Provide support to internal functions on the application, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems and department-specific processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of Project Management and tools.
  • Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
Team Management and Development
  • Establish goals and conduct performance appraisals; coach and provide career development to QMS and PCS team.
  • Identify strengths and create specific development plans.
  • Provide guidance or mentoring to team members as necessary.
Recognition and Accountability
  • Promote teamwork and resolve conflict.
  • Timely recognize good effort and promote continual improvement.
