Job Title: Mill Engineer

At Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a highly skilled Mill Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mill machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Mill Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standing instructions.
  • Supervise subordinates to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installation of parts and machines.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports, and ensure the engineers' log book is filled for proper shift handover.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs for all plant and machinery.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Identify and troubleshoot processing losses, and provide explanations for any deviations from standard limits.
  • Ensure ISO/MSPO compliance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
  • Possess at least 2nd Grade Steam Engineers certificate of competency for Senior Mill Engineer.
  • Able to lead subordinates and arrange manpower.
  • Able to prepare reports and paperwork related to mill operations.
  • Able to perform immediate troubleshooting when necessary.
