Job DescriptionWe're seeking a Risk Associate to join our team, reporting to Head of Credit Risk, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize the lending portfolio.
- This role is based onsite at the Grab Malaysia office and involves developing and implementing end-to-end credit frameworks and policies.
- You will be responsible for managing and structuring internal and external data, automating credit risk assessment processes, and developing dashboards to monitor portfolio risk performance.
As a Risk Associate, you will:
- Develop and implement end-to-end credit frameworks and policies for the Driver and Consumer segments in collaboration with the regional credit team.
- Manage credit risk operations and create a credit whitelist using alternative data to enhance credit models for the MEX segment.
- Uncover insights from credit models, and collaborate with lending and collections teams to minimize credit loss.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a relevant background.
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in credit risk management roles within the financial services or FinTech industry.
- You have excellent analytical thinking, combining technical expertise with strategic insight.
