We are seeking a skilled Technical Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial services unit, you will be responsible for processing technical accounts received from clients and brokers, managing their financial handling, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of assumed results. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to understand complex financial transactions, identify potential issues, and provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate technical statements of account for all types of business, including proportional, non-proportional treaty business, and FAC business.
  • Understand and apply technical verification of accounts within our validation framework and contract wording.
  • Handle financial transactions related to statements of account, claims payments, and reconciliation of broker statements.
  • Account for and report collateralized amounts to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Calculate reinstatement premiums, reserving, portfolio in/out, premium adjustments, deposit retain/release, HL adjustments, profit commissions, sliding scale, no claims bonus, and other fees in accordance with contract terms.
  • Support quarter close by ensuring high levels of data quality on client-reported figures and actively participate in the close process with Multi-GAAP.
  • Liaise with external and internal clients in resolving data issues.
  • Complete assigned projects as needed.
