Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the facilities operations of soft, hard & technical services, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Key areas of focus include:

  • Safeguarding a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring facility maintenance and support services meet high standards.
  • Compliance with QMS and standards (MDSAP & ISO13485) requirements.
  • Critical production/ R&D, facilities and service-related systems must remain operational and compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise to inform maintenance and support services operations.
  • Coordinating maintenance budgets, supplier agreements, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitating facility set-up, validation, and document updates in accordance with procedural requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and procedural requirements for process equipment and annual checks/calibrations.
  • Executing assignments and tasks assigned by direct superiors.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with OH&S team to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to Regulatory, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure Quality and Environmental Management Systems compliance.
  • Ensure facility hard & technical services (Mechanical and Electrical) meet quality, regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Guarantee facility soft services meet quality, regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Oversee and renew facilities-related equipment licenses and permits, maintenance contracts, and budget preparation.
  • Manage and optimize service performance levels, encompassing safety, cost, quality, and environmental considerations.
  • Develop and execute technical reports, SOPs, qualification protocols, service agreements, training, and correspondence.
  • Set up facilities for new or existing production/R&D environments in accordance with procedural requirements.
  • Analyze and manage data and maintenance programs using a maintenance management platform.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SOPs, systems, and documents related to facilities management and services.
  • Provide on-call services and emergency support when needed.
  • Undertake other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Lead multiple ResMed Manufacturing sites in Malaysia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management, with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing, property, or construction management.
  • Electrical Chargeman license (A4/B0) preferred.
  • Familiarity with MDSAP, ISO13485, GMP practices, Lean, 5S, and Six-Sigma methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in team management, workload planning, and achieving targets.
  • Technical expertise and experience in leading and supervising teams.
  • Proficiency in building operations, maintenance, spares management, and facility qualification.
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving abilities in Mechanical and Electrical systems.
