Curtin University Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Fees and Visa Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Student Finance and Statutory Reporting unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all financial administration processes related to student fees, including lifecycle stages and statutory requirements.
- Support compliance practices with relevant legislation, including HESA and ESOS, and maintain a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Provide accurate and prompt advice to student enquiries regarding student fees, visa, payments, refunds, and other area-specific enquiries.
- Assess and issue students with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) in response to changes in student enrolments, in line with international student visa framework requirements and legislation.
- Perform reconciliation of student tuition fee accounts and apply appropriate credit management processes.
- Manage, monitor, and follow up on accounts with overdue debts in accordance with university policy and internal processes.
- A degree qualification and significant experience in a related area.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and accuracy in data entry and information retrieval.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
