A Digital Solutions Architect for Cloud Infrastructure will join the Software Engineering & DevSecOps chapter, collaborating with internal experts specializing in software engineering. The team collaborates on multiple products contributing to the company's internal business requirements.

The role of the Digital Solutions Architect for Cloud Infrastructure includes optimizing and automating the deployment and management of platform and cloud-based services to support application development. Ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security in all aspects of the digital product lifecycle is also crucial. This involves development and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with architects and developers to establish technical specifications.
  2. Understanding product strategy, business requirements, and translating them into development tasks, and when required, leading DevSecOps activities.
  3. Driving the implementation and maintenance of efficient Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
  4. Deploying and managing the software application underlying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles and tools, and maintaining version-controlled configurations.
  5. Implementing robust security practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
  6. Implementing observability solutions to measure the availability and performance of software applications.
  7. Developing and maintaining technical specifications, diagrams, and supporting system documentation. Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Software and DevSecOps Engineering.

Requirements and Qualifications:

The following skills are necessary for this position:

  1. Experience in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, software development, testing, and retirement of systems, agile software development methodologies, source code management tools (Gitlab, Github), CI/CD Pipelining (Gitlab-ci, Github actions and/or Jenkins), Python programming, observability and monitoring tools (i.e., DataDog, Splunk, LogicMonitor, Elastic Search, Grafana, etc.), Docker and/or Kubernetes, AWS/Azure Cloud Providers.
  2. Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
  3. Experience working in cross-functional teams and across multiple time zones. Additionally, experience in developing and using validated systems and Snowflake knowledge and experience is beneficial.
  4. At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering. At least 3+ years of experience working in one or more multinational work environments (e.g., healthcare industry experience is advantageous).
  5. Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
