Key Functions
  • Regularly inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to subordinates and related personnel for responsible duty execution.
  • Monitor critical control points and process parameters to identify deviations and implement corrective actions in line with HACCP principles.
  • Evaluate and ensure GMP, HACCP, and FSSC procedure compliance, documenting and updating records as needed.
  • Accurately maintain inspection results, test data, and quality control documentation for traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and manage factory employees to meet OSHA, F&M act, and other statutory requirements, including certifications from HALAL, ISO, or HACCP.
  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and quality incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to address quality issues, optimize processes, and implement improvements.
  • Develop and update quality control procedures, work instructions, and SOPs to reflect best practices, regulatory changes, and industry standards.
  • Update packaging material artworks according to regulatory changes.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation, data analysis, and corrective action plans as required.
  • Train quality and production personnel on quality control procedures, food safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collect and receive certificates and licenses from authority bodies.
  • Address product queries and customer complaints within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Liaise with external labs on quality testing and provide guidance on quality assurance and control activities.
