Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Sourcing Plans: Design and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Identify and onboard strategic suppliers capable of meeting our needs, negotiating contracts and agreements that secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives, driving continuous improvement and mitigating risks.
  • Monitor Supplier Performance: Regularly review supplier performance, conducting in-depth analyses to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead Cost-Saving Initiatives: Develop and execute projects to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery, staying informed about market trends and industry regulations relevant to sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Support Team Success: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within engineering manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in international sourcing and global supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English languages for business purposes.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. CPSM) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel overseas (China, Singapore, etc.).
