Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing equipment.
- Equipment Optimization: Analyze equipment operating data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Reliability Enhancement: Evaluate plant and equipment unscheduled downtime and identify opportunities for reliability enhancement.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee the mechanical and electrical maintenance team, including implementation of work procedures, overtime, and troubleshooting guidance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Ensure that preventive maintenance is fulfilled based on required schedules for all equipment.
- Vendor Alignment: Align with vendors on part design, fabrication, and installation for improvement activities.
- Spare Parts Management: Control spare part inventory and align with the spare part management team.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement plans and support customer complaint cases.
- Process Improvement: Control, improve, and sustain process yield output.
- Documentation: Create documentation on standard operating procedures, process specifications, work instructions, and OJTI.
- New Machine Integration: Support new machine buyoff and machine change documentation.
- Machine Risk Assessment: Design and update machine risk and health assessments.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic)
- At least 4 years of experience in leading teams, preferably in engineering or maintenance
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Understanding and passion for continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to interact with and lead diverse groups, including managers, technicians, operators, and subject matter experts
- Strong technical understanding of basic manufacturing equipment
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills
