About the Role:
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions within a standard framework or range of pricing and margin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study product knowledge and company working procedures to continuously improve domain knowledge of products, company, and industry.
- Plan annual secured order strategies aligned with department goals and achieve business sales targets with year-over-year growth expectations in the region.
- Prepare and issue tenders and proposals to customers, lead negotiation and/or bidding activities at optimum profit levels for the company, and close orders to achieve assigned goals and targets.
- Provide monthly reporting on assigned vertical secured and revenue attainment, as well as non-financial reporting to the management team.
- Develop sales leads and identify customer requirements, and be proactive in liaising, developing relationships, and influencing customers to maintain long-term service relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and collect competitors' activities in the market and report periodically as directed by the company.
- Independently develop and follow up on HVAC projects to provide solutions for customers.
- Responsible for promoting HVAC products and systems in design institutes, industry associations, and integrators in the industry in the region.
- Conduct cold calls and new business development, and explore and execute end-to-end HVAC projects to provide product/industry solutions to customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical engineering and HVAC engineering or Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a sales/marketing position in direct selling industrial machinery.
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and positive, hunter personality.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and selling skills.
- Good spoken and written English language skills.
