Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies for reservoir engineering workflows, aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on reservoir simulation, interpretation, and analysis techniques.
  • Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate reservoir engineering workflows into broader project objectives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • +10 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong focus on reservoir simulation.
  • Understanding of high-performance computing (HPC) environments and their application in reservoir simulation.
  • Familiarity with geological concepts and reservoir characterization.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, especially in the context of cloud-based HPC solutions (Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Independent and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Malay.
  • Experience in project management or leadership roles is advantageous.
