The successful candidate will be responsible for translating actual problems into Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models, interpreting analysis results, and selecting the best solution, which includes linear & non-linear analysis.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess experience with using ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS SIwave, and/or ANSYS Q3D Extractor simulation software involving real-world, industry-level applications. They will also be familiar with package, printed circuit boards, design processes, and EDA Tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with signal and power integrity simulation analysis including eye diagram analysis, crosstalk analysis, transmission line impedance simulations, bathtub curves, TDR, power delivery networks, and power plane decoupling analysis.
- Experience with using ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS SIwave, and/or ANSYS Q3D Extractor simulation software involving real-world, industry-level applications.
- Familiarity with package, printed circuit boards, design processes, and EDA Tools.
- Translate actual problems to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models, interpret analysis results, and select the best solution which includes linear & non-linear analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate simulation software capabilities and industry trends.
- Deploy standardized processes and work methodologies.
- Benchmark and implement productivity improvement methods.
- Collaborate with design & validation teams to enhance design optimization.
- Demonstrate logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
- Deep understanding of timing budgets and jitter analysis. Familiarity with lab measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes, TDR, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), etc.
- System and Product knowledge: Thorough understanding of customer requirements, product, and application needs required for creating effective designs.
