Job Overview

Businesslist is seeking a seasoned IT security expert to lead our digital protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, and the ability to develop and implement effective security strategies.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT security professional to take on the role of Head of Digital Protection. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining IT security standards, providing guidance and support to management and stakeholders, and promoting cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cybersecurity Strategy Development: Develop and maintain IT security standards to support the Group's needs.
  2. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of policies and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct ongoing assessments of IT security practices and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Consulting and Advisory Support: Offer consulting and advisory support to management and stakeholders on IT security, compliance strategies, and technology, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements during inspections and audits.
  5. Security Solutions Implementation: Drive the development and execution of security strategies and implement IT solutions to mitigate the risk of cyber-attacks.
  6. Security Tools and Automation: Source, acquire, implement, and enhance security tools, automation systems, and services to ensure secure infrastructure, high-quality deliverables, and operational efficiency.
  7. Pre-production Security Assessments: Perform pre-production security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
  8. Cybersecurity Awareness: Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization to build a more secure environment.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree
  2. Experience: 10 years IT security experience, especially in SSC or banking industry
  3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills
