About the Job

The Finance Shared Services Center Manager is a key role within the Fragomen finance department. This position will be responsible for leading and overseeing the shared services operations within the finance department, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of financial services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Manage a team of finance professionals in the shared services center.
    • Develop training programs to enhance team performance, motivation, and development.
    • Establish clear performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shared services center.
    • Ensure all financial processes align with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify, monitor, and resolve operational issues affecting the finance department.
  3. Process Improvement:
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies.
    • Lead projects aimed at automating manual processes and adopting new financial technologies.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure their adherence across the team.
  4. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure finance processes comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports, audits, and other required documentation.
    • Monitor financial data accuracy and maintain data integrity.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding finance services.
    • Collaborate with other offices and departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors and third-party service providers as necessary.
  6. Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to provide insights for improved decision-making.
    • Monitor key financial KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  7. Internal Audit Management:
    • Develop and implement audit plans.
    • Lead internal audits to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with policies.
    • Collaborate with various offices to address audit findings and ensure corrective actions are taken.
    • Monitor compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
