Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of general ledger entries, fixed assets transactions, banking transactions, financial and management reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and support for local statutory and tax compliance in accordance with company policies, procedures, and local accounting standards.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Foster close collaboration with Operating Units (OpCo) Finance to comprehend ongoing activities and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  3. Process Improvement: Cooperate with OpCo to address outstanding aged balance sheet items. Monitor and resolve identified outstanding issues regularly, escalating to relevant parties when necessary.
  4. Performance Management: Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and achieve monthly performance and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  5. Internal Controls: Take responsibility for all relevant internal controls associated with Record to Report (RTR) processes.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Actively engage with team lead/manager to identify, suggest, and implement continuous process improvement opportunities within existing processes.
  7. Ad Hoc Activities: Engage in continuous process improvement projects and initiatives. Participate in ad hoc activities or projects as needed.
Requirements
  1. Education: Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, and/or hold a professional accounting qualification (such as ACCA/CPA/MIA, etc.).
  2. Experience: Hold a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to managing full set accounts for a Senior Analyst position.
  3. Relevant Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting capacity for an Analyst role.
  4. Desirable Skills: Previous exposure to Audit and Tax is considered advantageous. Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment and familiarity with Consolidated Group Accounts will be beneficial. Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems is preferred.
