Senior FX Artist

We are looking for an experienced Senior FX Artist to join our team at Omens Studios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating high-quality visual effects for film and television.

The Senior FX Artist will be responsible for leading a team of FX Artists and overseeing the creation of visual effects for animated TV Series, short films, games, commercials and live action feature films. This includes collaborating with other departments to develop FX approaches and assets, maintaining a consistent art style and creating various types of effects for projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and lead a team of talented artists and technicians. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in the field of visual effects.

The requirements for this role include minimum 5 years' experience in a FX capacity, strong knowledge in one or more of the following DCC (Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine Niagara and After Effects), strong technical knowledge in particle effects, dynamic simulation and shader effects and strong knowledge of physics.

You will also need to have strong technical knowledge in working on effects pipelines and strong knowledge of rigid body dynamics and/or fluids. Additionally, you should have good eyes for details and strong aesthetic sense, be able to work independently according to timeline and be able to independently troubleshoot pipeline related effects issues.
