Job DescriptionProduct Strategy and Vision

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team. As a Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Defining Product Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product strategy and vision, aligning it with the company's overall objectives.
  2. Conducting Market Research: Conduct market research, analyze user feedback, and gather insights to identify new product opportunities and improvements.
  3. Developing a Deep Understanding of User Needs: Develop a deep understanding of user needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform product roadmap decisions.
Product Development and Management

As a Product Development Manager, you will also be responsible for:

  1. Working Closely with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into clear and actionable development plans.
  2. Defining and Prioritizing Product Features: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
  3. Monitoring the Product Development Lifecycle: Monitor the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  4. Conducting User Acceptance Testing: Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to drive iterative product improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration

We are looking for a Product Development Manager who can:

  1. Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales Teams: Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  2. Effectively Communicate Product Plans: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Foster a Collaborative Work Environment: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages idea-sharing and cross-functional cooperation.
Product Performance and Optimization

As a Product Development Manager, you will also be responsible for:

  1. Defining Key Product Performance Metrics: Define key product performance metrics and regularly evaluate product performance against established goals.
  2. Analyzing User Data: Analyze user data, conduct A/B testing, and gather insights to make data-driven decisions for optimizing product features and user experience.
  3. Continuously Monitoring Market Trends: Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify areas for product enhancement and innovation.
Qualifications

To be successful as a Product Development Manager, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Related Field: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven Experience as a Product Manager: Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role minimum 3 years, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  3. Strong Technical Background: Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles.
  4. Demonstrated Ability to Learn Multiple Functional Areas: Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  5. Demonstrated Ability to Figure Out Solutions to Hard Problems: Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  6. Proven Ability to Engage with Engineers, Designers, and Company Leaders: Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
