Assist the team leader in the development of Takaful products, including planning and development activities in accordance with the compliance rules set by relevant regulatory bodies and Shariah guidelines.

Job Description:
  • Assist the team leader in drafting product write-ups and other product documents/collaterals.
  • Ensure accuracy in the documents submitted and presented under Product Management.
  • Assist the team leader in planning and coordinating end-to-end product development activities.
  • Perform user acceptance testing with zero errors.
  • Ensure necessary approvals are obtained prior to product launch.
  • Conduct product competitiveness analysis and monitor competitors' development of new products and strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory rules, guidelines, product policies, standards of good practice, and Shariah requirements.
  • Monitor post-launch issues and ensure they are resolved within the given time frame.
  • Assist in providing requirements and information for projects related to product management as assigned by the team leader within the given time frame.
Job Specification:
  • A degree or higher qualification in Actuarial Science or other professional qualifications is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in the insurance or Takaful industry, preferably in Product Development or Actuarial. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of Takaful products and technical expertise in the insurance and Takaful industry.
  • Well-versed in regulatory guidelines, IFSA, and basic knowledge of Shariah.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Result-driven, independent, and able to work with minimal guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
