• Communicate DKSH employee/industrial relations policies and procedures through communication sessions, presentations, and training/in-house workshops.
• Manage employee/industrial relations issues and discuss improvement opportunities with employees or department leaders.
• Execute/manage M&A due diligence and projects with large cross-functional collaboration and integration of targeted synergies.
• Interface and maintain close relationships with groups inside and outside the organization (e.g., business groups, vendors, associations, labor organizations, etc.).
• Guide business leaders and HR practitioners on employee/industrial relations knowledge to effectively minimize company's legal exposure.
• Provide advice on labor laws, company policies, and HR practices.
• Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures including conducting investigations, preparing necessary disciplinary letters, and conducting domestic inquiries.
• Represent the company for cases involving escalation at IR office, Labour office, and Industrial Relations Court.
• Conduct trade union negotiations for collective agreement renewals with external trade unions – National Union of Commercial Workers (NUCW), Sabah Commercial Employees Union, and Sarawak Commercial Employees Union.
