Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Security Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our System Security Team, you will be responsible for implementing, administering, supervising, supporting, and evolving various security solutions for our key account customers.

  • Ensure the operational maintenance of SOC, hosted systems, and associated safety equipment.
  • Remotely administer our customers' servers and security solutions.
  • Support customers with SN2/SN3 technical support requests.
  • Collaborate on updating procedures and documents.
  • Support some evolution or redesign projects.
  • Participate in security solutions analysis and reporting to protect strategic customer information and infrastructure.
  • Be the last line of defense before a disaster by ensuring implementation and testing required before deployment.
  • Perform corrective and scalable maintenance of application test scenarios.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT.
  • Ideal experience in security, systems, and networks, with an appetite for small developments.
  • Dynamic, curious, and ongoing technology watch.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (MUST).

And ideally, the following skills:

  • IP networks and services: DNS, proxy, NAC, LDAP/AD, bastion.
  • Log management would be a plus.
  • Or more specifically security vendor solutions such as: Splunk, Proofpoint, Alsid, CyberArk, Wallix, Netskope, Kaspersky, PaloAlto, OneIdentity, Forcepoint, etc.
