The role of a Manufacturing Supervisor at Masimo is to oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing department. This position ensures that production plans are met with high quality and customer satisfaction, while adhering to regulatory and quality regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to Quality System procedures, Company Policies, and Malaysian Labor Law.
  • Supervise hiring, training, and performance of associates and leads.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Process engineering departments to document product assembly steps and acceptance criteria in manufacturing documentation.
  • Maintain availability of necessary documentation on manufacturing lines for product assembly.
  • Ensure easy access to documents by printing and posting visual aids and physical aids on workbenches.
  • Achieve adherence to good manufacturing practices and meet production schedules within efficiency and yield goals.
  • Document line balancing and assign workloads to each workstation to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and minimize downtime.
  • Perform disciplinary actions according to internal regulations.
  • Supervise proper material identification and segregation (Raw material and Finished Product).
  • Prepare reports requested by Management.
  • Support company activities and projects.
  • Report unsafe conditions or actions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • E nsure all personnel wear personal safety equipment.
  • Comply with personnel rotation and ergonomic requirements.
  • Investigate non-conformant product rejection causes and prevent recurrence.
