About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and integrity across Mazars global audit methodology.

Your primary focus will be on quality control, conducting Engagement Quality Control reviews to guarantee professional standards compliance in our reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Stay abreast of industry developments related to engagement standards impacting our business.
  2. Actively participate in engagement standard setter activities, including conference attendance, task force participation, and responding to comment letters.
  3. Develop strategies and materials to efficiently implement new and changed standards.
  4. Create policies and procedures related to the Firm's system of quality control as required under the MIA and Mazars QC Manual.
  5. Implement detailed policies and procedures supporting compliance with professional standards (MIA, AOB, PCAOB, IESBA, IFRS etc.).
  6. Consult regularly with Firm personnel regarding compliance with professional standards matters.
  7. Draft thought leadership material to support both internal and external campaigns.
  8. Monitor Firm compliance with the MIA Quality Control Standards and engagement standards.
  9. Manage the Firm's annual internal inspection process addressing both Firm level policy compliance and audit and attest engagement standards.
  10. Oversee the Firm's global reporting requirements to Mazars Group.
  11. Perform Engagement Quality Control reviews on professional standards issues.
  12. Maintain and update the Firm's Quality Control Manuals.
  13. Participate in regulatory and global control inspections.
  14. Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and deliver quality client services with accuracy and in a timely manner.
