A Day in the Life of a Project Manager

As a project manager at Cognite, you will lead teams driving our customers' digital transformations, liberating and maximizing the value of their data. You will spearhead projects, collaborate with data scientists, solution architects, and domain experts to design, develop, and operationalize digital solutions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop industrial AI solutions and applications.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring delivery of high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, math, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical project management, digital transformation, or software consulting.
  • Passion for driving change and creating success for customers, with multiple stakeholders and partners involved.
  • Enthusiasm for overcoming challenges and setting ambitious, innovative goals.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, build strong teams, and cultivate customer and partner relationships.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous working environment, yet be able to add structure to our deliveries.
  • Familiarity with IoT, cloud solutions, or machine learning models is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate stakeholder landscapes.
  • Willingness to travel, if necessary.
