Job Description

Project Manager, Procurement Operations and Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and manage digital projects aimed at transforming and optimizing our procurement processes. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, procurement knowledge, and digital technology acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Digital Transformation Leadership:
    • Lead the development and execution of the procurement digital transformation strategy.
    • Collaborate with procurement, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to align digital initiatives with overall business objectives.
  2. Project Planning And Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Execute and oversee the implementation of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Supplier Management:
    • Collaborate with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to select and implement digital solutions that align with procurement goals.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions.
  4. Data Integration And Analytics:
    • Oversee the integration of digital tools with existing procurement systems.
    • Utilize data analytics to track and measure the impact of digital initiatives on procurement performance.
  5. Change Management:
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of digital tools and processes.
    • Provide training and support to procurement teams to enhance digital literacy.
  6. Procure To Pay Process And Systems:
    • Work with business users and IT to define requirements for enhancements or new functionality; work with team members to design and solution the applications, participate in unit testing, test scripts preparation, coordinate with business users on system integration testing; assist in planning and executing deployment and provide post-implementation support.
    • Work with Oracle and/or SAP for system issue troubleshooting and improvement opportunities.
    • Document processes and provide training to business users when there is a change or new functionality introduced.
    • Participate in all procurement related audits as required.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Experience working in Oracle Cloud Procurement module a plus.
  3. Experience and expertise with ERP tools (Oracle and SAP).
  4. Experience in project management, specifically in leading digital transformation projects within procurement.
  5. Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  6. Strong understanding of digital technologies relevant to procurement; e-procurement platforms, AI, and data analytics.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Communicate well in English both in verbal and written form required.
  9. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
