Financial Operations Director

Job Overview

The Financial Operations Director will oversee the overall accounting functions at FLYPROJECT, including preparation of full sets of accounts for non-halal businesses. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience with SQL/Quickbook/Xero Accounting software and Infotech & Zeoniq POS system.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with tax agents and auditors on tax and audit-related matters.
  • Assist in yearly audits and draft audit reports to ensure timely year-end audits.
  • Prepare and update tax templates for tax computations purposes and handle tax revisions.
  • Submit company SST submissions.
  • Provide guidance and training to new staff as needed.
  • Implement new procedures and SOPs to enhance department workflow.
  • Perform human resource tasks, such as payroll reports, statutory payments, and staff leave monitoring.
  • Complete other administrative work as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting or related professional qualification like CPA/CIMA/MICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with SQL/Quickbook/Xero Accounting software and Infotech & Zeoniq POS system.
  • Familiarity with F&B industry (pub & bistro) is an advantage.
  • 1-3 years of work experience.
