Ansell is seeking an OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team in a challenging role that requires expertise in Operational Technology (OT) security within industrial environments.

In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of critical OT systems. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, securing sensitive systems, and serving as a knowledge hub in infrastructure and cybersecurity fields. The professional in this position must protect vital infrastructure and industrial control systems, leveraging their expertise in risk assessment, security architecture design, incident response, and compliance to uphold operational resilience.

A deep understanding of OT systems, network equipment, and networking protocols is essential, coupled with a robust working knowledge of industry-standard security practices, especially in perimeter protection within the OT landscape.

Key responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Deployment: Architect and implement secure solutions tailored for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • Project Support: Provide critical support for OT Management and Security projects.
  • Cybersecurity Analysis: Execute detailed analysis of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, DCS, IoT) architecture and infrastructure, focusing on management and cybersecurity aspects.
  • Incident Management and Response Coordination: Establish protocols and manage security incidents, ensuring rapid and effective response within OT environments.
  • Collaborative Improvement and Safety Culture Promotion: Work with teams and clients to enhance OT security compliance and organize training programs to instill a culture of safety.
  • Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify and mitigate risks to critical systems.
  • Security Architecture and Policy Development: Design secure OT/ICS architectures and establish comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Threat Monitoring and Security Assessments: Maintain continuous surveillance over systems and perform regular security testing to identify system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response Execution and Technology Recommendation: Address OT security incidents appropriately and recommend technologies to support business needs.
  • Network Security Oversight and User Awareness Training: Manage all aspects of OT network security and develop training materials to promote security awareness.
  • Network Architecture Integration and Performance Monitoring: Integrate new OT network architectures and oversee network performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or industrial sectors.
  • A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science (IT), or a related field.
  • Strong passion for advisory and cybersecurity topics.
  • Willingness to continuously self-develop and improve skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to author technical and non-technical documents for varying audiences.
  • English proficiency at B2 level, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with internationally recognized cybersecurity standards and OT regulations.
  • OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
  • Network security design and technologies.
  • OT / ICS systems and industrial communication protocols.

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Highly motivated and ambitious individual with a hunger for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated documentation skills with Visio and other tools.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with leadership capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of manufacturing operation service cycles.
  • Industrial networking and network segmentation.
  • Micro-Segmentation – Zero Trust.
  • Cisco ISE.
  • ISA 99 / IEC 62443 industrial control system networks experience.
  • ITIL tools & processes.
  • Prior experience in troubleshooting and resolving network problems using network monitoring tools.
  • Travel requirements.
