  3. Supply Chain Optimization: Increase Jabil's control of the supply chain within the region through the development of sales and execution of the supply chain strategy.
  4. Supply Base and Logistics Management: Ensure that Jabil has a comprehensive supply chain in place throughout the region, with a competent supply base and logistics solution to execute the supply chain strategy.
  5. Leadership and Vision: Provide management, leadership, vision, and direction to Jabil's global supply chain business systems development organization.
  6. Regional Infrastructure Development: Develop a regional infrastructure that supports the size and scale of the business in the Americas.
  7. Global Supply Chain Strategy: Participate in the development and implementation of the global supply chain strategy, ensuring the requirements of the region are included.
  8. Supply Chain Expertise: Market Jabil's supply chain expertise both internally and externally.
  9. Business Relationship Development: Develop effective relationships with business unit management to ensure that supply chain management is fully involved with new business opportunities.
  10. Supply Base Relationship Management: Develop effective relationships with senior individuals within the supply base, ensuring that Jabil's wants, needs, and requirements are clearly communicated and met.
  11. Process Improvement: Identify and implement new practices and processes that enhance Jabil's supply chain.

Requirements:

  1. Strong Knowledge of Global and Regional Logistics Operations: Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  2. Logistics Requirements Determination: Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
  3. Financial and Analytical Ability: Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
  4. International Tax and Customs Knowledge: Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
  5. Change Management Experience: Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
  6. Communication Skills: Strong and convincing communication skills.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Five Years Experience in Materials-Related Disciplines: Five years experience in materials-related disciplines.
  2. Commercial Requirements Understanding: Strong understanding of commercial requirements of relevant industry sector.
  3. Industry Economic and Financial Models: Strong familiarity with relevant sector economic and financial models.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Combination of Education, Experience, and/or Training: Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
