Job Summary

">

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner EAP to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Head of Operations EAP, you will be responsible for centralizing material sourcing for countries supported by the Distribution Center in Asia.

">

Your primary focus will be on providing comprehensive support to EAP countries in all aspects of material logistics, including monitoring and optimizing stock levels to ensure availability at the lowest possible cost while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

You will also drive and implement inventory optimization initiatives to reduce slow-moving and non-moving inventory. Furthermore, you will manage and assert accurate demand and supply signals within the EAP countries to ensure reliable, realistic, and cost-effective material replenishment and release.

As the first point of contact for country logistics support, you will lead weekly replenishment activities for assigned country organizations through a 2-tier process. You will assess demand accuracy, challenge discrepancies, and release manually placed IC POs in Discos II.

Additionally, you will oversee material exchanges within the EAP area, ensuring area stocks are utilized before sourcing additional material from IC outside of the EAP region, DPR, or external suppliers. You will initiate replenishment and source materials from outside the EAP area when necessary.

Your responsibilities will also include approving external purchases of Doka standard items after evaluating the availability of cost-effective IC sourcing alternatives. You will monitor and escalate any issues regarding material availability from DPR or non-release from IC.

You will manage bottlenecks and ensure that allocated area quantities are consumed optimally, coordinating with EAP countries and other regions in the event of shortages. You will review and analyze 'Prioritized Supply Actions' for EAP countries, suggesting reductions, cancellations, or challenging non-cancellations where applicable.

Furthermore, you will oversee pending IC purchase orders and collaborate with countries to ensure timely shipment of ordered materials. You will ensure the accuracy and relevance of master data for EAP countries in RapidResponse.

You will execute availability requests from both countries and the export business, ensuring seamless coordination. You will drive improvements in relevant software tools, such as RapidResponse, to enhance efficiency.

You will support the continuous improvement of processes, sharing best practices across the organization. You will implement and uphold group-wide standards and processes to maintain consistency and efficiency.

Lastly, you will ensure transparent reporting related to materials logistics, including management of the Power BI Logistics Dashboard.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations.">
  • Minimum of three years' experience in Material Logistics and/or Procurement, preferably within the formwork or construction sectors in Asia Pacific.">
  • Experience with supply chain planning software is a plus.">
