We are currently seeking a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design Basis, Code & Standard
    • Applying knowledge of design codes, industries standard and practices such as API/ISO/ASME, etc.
    • Resolving problems/troubleshoot based on Codes & Standards interpretation.
    • In-depth understanding of Clients specification (e.g. PTS, DEP etc.) and providing service which meets contract requirements.
  2. Knowledge of Static Equipment
    • In-depth understanding of rotating equipment used generally in oil and gas/refinery/industries for onshore and offshore applications.
    • Reviewing Vendors various options and providing detailed technical evaluation (TBE/TBT).
  3. Material Selection
    • Understanding of various types of materials to be used for different services.
    • Understanding of materials grades to be used based on process input/material selection report.
  4. Working Deliverables
    • Able to prepare effectively in a timely manner.
    • Technical Data Sheet, Job specification, Equipment specification, Material Requisition, Technical Clarification.

About You:

The Candidate shall possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Hons) with at least 7 years of engineering design experience in various static equipment for onshore/offshore applications.

Additional Information

  • Willin to travel and stationed at various Engineering Operating Centers/Client Office.
  • Site or fabrication experience (1 to 2 years).
