Career Opportunities: Chief Accountant / Assistant Financial Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of postings to the general ledger and sub-ledgers. This includes ensuring accounts receivable and payable sub-ledgers balance to the general ledger, reviewing all journal entries including recurring journal entries, checking bank reconciliation statements monthly, reviewing general ledger transactions and trial balance abnormalities, and reviewing tax computations and provisions.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial management is essential for this role. Proficiency in financial software and general computing is also required. Fluency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
