Job Description:

Ams Osram is seeking a skilled Simulation Expert to join our team. As a Staff R&D Engineer - Simulation, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and applying predictive multiphysics simulation chip and package models.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop predictive multiphysics simulation chip and package models to support the development of high-performance products.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to identify design issues and risks in the early stages of development.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers and R&D peers through knowledge sharing.
  • Drive the continuous development of leading-edge simulation approaches and advanced material modeling to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and leverage research institutions and universities to support studies and projects.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced simulation expert who can work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
