As a key member of the commercial team, this role is essential to the organization's success. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a track record of delivery and proven experience in corporate governance and secretarial practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on corporate governance and secretarial best practices to clients, leveraging our extensive network of counsel firms in APAC.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and counsel firms to drive business growth and success.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and deadlines to the highest standards, demonstrating exceptional project management skills.
- Participate in and lead client-focused communications, fostering strong relationships and driving business outcomes.
- Manage the input and output of client-focused legal technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal results.
- Report to the Client Coordinator and Client Partner, providing regular updates on client service, development opportunities, escalations, and more.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a confident and results-driven individual with a strong background in commercial law and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience as a commercial lawyer in a well-established company.
- Demonstrable commitment to a Company Secretarial career, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in managing, running, and delivering projects across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on commercial and practical outcomes.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- A commercial and practical outlook, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, time, and workload, and prioritize expectations.
