About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing fund administration services to private equity and hybrid funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting principles.
  • Investor Servicing: Coordinate investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reporting activities, providing exceptional client service.
  • Fund Documentation: Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply its terms to financial reporting and income/expense allocations.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for clients, resolving issues and queries in a timely manner and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a university degree in Accounting or relevant field, with a qualified accountant or other relevant qualification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in hedge fund or private equity.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Software: Experience with accounting software, such as Investran and Geneva, is an advantage.
