Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading on-site security operations and vulnerability remediation efforts across our data centers and network PoPs environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead on-site security operations and vulnerability remediation efforts across our data centers and network PoPs environment.
  • Point of contact for security issues that occur on site, incident commander in event of an issue.
  • Subject matter expert for all security control and related process areas.
  • Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access control systems.
  • Analyze and oversight of scheduling and staffing requirements for area of responsibility.
  • Support program managers and facilitate security project deliverables; devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, improve the overall operational security.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in data center physical security or security operations.
  • 3+ years experience with risk management, vulnerability assessments for data centers.
  • Excellent organizational direction, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Works well under pressure and within time/budget constraints to solve problems and complete security deliverables.
  • Experience with Lenel and Avigilon systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Security Operation Center (SOC) development/management is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and/or certifications in: Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Hirsch, S2 and other ACS, VMS, IDS, and CCTV system is a plus.
