Job Description Summary

The Proactive Monitoring Supervisor reports to the Senior Manager and supervises proactive monitoring activities for customers using the Remote Support Services dashboard to support company business objectives associated with the service and support of BD Pyxis products within the MMS portfolio.

Responsibilities of the BD Proactive Monitoring Supervisor role:

- The Proactive Monitoring Supervisor provides support to the Senior Manager, local management team, internal cross-functional teams, and the Proactive Monitoring team in various capacities to support established business goals and objectives.
- Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize internal alarm escalations; assist team with diagnosing and resolving issues regarding proprietary alarms.
- Maintain documents and resources for PowerBI Dashboards to identify trends and spikes.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools, platforms, and solution documents to support proactive monitoring efforts.
- Analyze monitoring data and performance trends to anticipate potential issues and recommend preventive actions.
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Proactive Monitoring Team such as case creation, alarm resolution, and escalation.
- Oversees the completion of Proactive Monitoring Team training curricula.
- Facilitates coaching sessions with staff for behavioral, technical, and customer experience opportunities.
- Mentors staff and works to identify opportunities for development, growth, and advancement and establish best practices.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and communication, and an understanding of the healthcare business environment.
- Other tasks and special projects designated by the Senior Manager.

Qualifications for the BD Proactive Monitoring Supervisor role:

- Associate’s Degree or equivalent education in Healthcare Technology or other technical field, or a minimum of 3 years of Field Service experience working in a medical environment
- Experience with BD Pyxis MMS products preferred
- Prior management/supervisory experience or project/team leadership experience preferred
- Must be able to manage customer and subordinate expectations, and possess excellent organizational skills, data analysis skills, and flexibility to readily adapt to change.
- Must have a proven ability to understand and communicate technical/business issues with senior leadership, direct reports, customers, and cross-functional teams (verbal & written).
- Must be detail oriented with adept business sense and the ability to direct employees towards meeting the company’s objectives.
