Procurement Executive

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Procurement Executive in the construction field. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of construction materials and assisting our Quantity Surveyor in preparing tender documents.
- **Responsibilities**_:
1) **Procurement Management**: You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for construction materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

2) **Supplier Relations**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring favorable terms for the company.

3) **Market Research**: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the construction materials market, identify potential suppliers, and source materials at competitive prices.

4) **Cost Estimation**: Collaborate with our Quantity Surveyors to accurately estimate the cost of materials required for various construction projects.

5) **Tender Document Preparation**: Assist our Quantity Surveyors in preparing comprehensive tender documents that adhere to industry standards and specifications.

6) **Budget Control**: Monitor procurement expenses and work closely with the account team to ensure budget compliance.
- **Requirements**:_

1) **Educational Background**: A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience in the construction industry will also be considered.

2) **Construction Materials Knowledge**: Solid understanding of construction materials, their specifications, and market availability.

3) **Procurement Experience**: Proven experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and negotiation in the construction or related industries.

4) **Tender Preparation Skills**: Familiarity with tender document preparation and ability to collaborate effectively with Quantity Surveyors.

5) **Organizational Skills**: Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

6) **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.

7) **Problem-Solving**: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and find practical solutions.

8) **Team Player**: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
