Api 570 Piping Inspector

Responsibilities:
Attributes (Professional qualifications and additional skills mentioned below would be an additional advantage although not mandatory)
- ASNT/PCN Level II certification or equivalent in NDT.
- Competent in analysis, design, and inspection of onshore and offshore piping systems.
- Able to carry out an independent assessment of the condition of piping at onshore plants and offshore platforms.
- Have sound knowledge of international standards and codes relating to oil and gas industry, structure, pipelines, pressure vessels and process facilities in ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standards and statutory body (for example, DOSH) regulations related to inspection activities.
- Awareness knowledge in Fitness for Service (FFS).
- Have demonstrated competence in technical report writing, technical presentation and the ability to perform work with a high degree of initiative.
- Good command in both written and spoken for Malay and English language.
- Able to review inspection procedures submitted by VENDOR, SUB-VENDOR(s) and COMPANY’s contractor(s) and prepare in-house inspection procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Engineering or Science Level academic Qualification.
- Valid API 570 certificate with a minimum of THREE (3) years for SPM and ONE (1) year for Diploma with relevant experience in inspection and engineering in oil and gas related activities including offshore/onshore site experience.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
