Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the QA/QC documents such as project quality plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), WPS & PQR, WQTs quality related specification and test procedures.
• Maintain the ISP 9001 standard/requirements.
• Prepare and maintain the WPS & PQR and Welders Qualification Test records and witness Qualification Test.
• Implement and manage the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control System as per established project quality plans.
• Identify, develop and supervise a team of project QA/QC supervisors and inspectors to ensure that Quality Assurance activities meet established targets and standards.
• Perform timely implementation, supervision and execution of the project daily inspection, testing activities and documentation preparation.
• Review inspection and testing reports in particular for Mill Certificates, Civil works, Tank construction, Piping Test Package Preparation, E & I works and etc.
• Liaise with Clients and Sub-contractor on all QA/QC related activities, meetings and relevant issues.
• Critically review all non-conformance reports, defects reports, and then organize and manage the corrective action required to rectify the non-conformances.
• Conduct QA audit during the project for continuous improvement, and carry out necessary training for the project QC staffs.
• Ensure compliance with the company's SOPs, Quality, HSE policies, and code of business ethics to eliminate non-conformance and re-works.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control and welding inspection work of civil, mechanical / process plants / oil terminal project, preferably in the oil & gas industry or civil/marine construction industry.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Knowledge civil/marine/construction machineries and equipment.
• Applicants must be willing travel/relocate to other state.
