SPM, o-level, and above are preferred

**Responsibility**
- responsible for material planning & inventory control.
- ensure Purchase Order (PO) are issued based on lead time.
- collate purchase requisitions and purchase orders in order to order materials, goods and supplies.
- follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
- inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
- ensure that any invoices are sent to HQ / Purchasing department for verification before pass to Accounts department for cheque issue.
- obtain quotations from vendors / suppliers and negotiate for the best price, best quality and best service to ensure cost effectiveness.
- maintain and update vendor / supplier list on a timely basis.
- verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items, recommending alternatives.
- prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
- follow up closely to ensure on time deliveries for ordered items to support progress of works.
- interact with suppliers to solve delivery or quality problems.
- responsible doing month end stock take.
- perform any ad hoc and other duties relating to the above as may be assigned by your superior from time to time.
