Join us as Industry Segment Specialist where you will be creating end user acceptance and specification offering within the target segment(s). Driving and implementing marketing and sales activities for the selected market segment(s) in line with the agreed strategy. Working with key external influencers to educate, inform and solicit support for new ABB ventures and technical developments. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitor segment performance in Electrification Business Area. Reporting to Segment Manager and will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Implementing and reviewing target segment(s) strategies with country-specific action plans
- Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g., volume, price, and mix) for the segment(s) in the specified market. Creating detailed business plans, implements with regular follow-up
- Monitoring market trends and recommending adjustments for the strategy and planning accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes. Providing appropriate market information for long
- to mid-term decision making
- Communicating the end user value proposition for the target segment (internally and externally). Supporting local sales organization to have an effective perception in the target segment(s)
- Ensuring the major accounts in the segment(s) are identified and prioritized. Acting as Account Manager for one or more major accounts in the country
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the key customers in the target segment. Following up ABB’s performance in fulfilling their needs and communicating deficiencies and/or opportunities to the respective Business Units/Product Groups
- Reporting by segment to accurately measure progress and uses common tools to identify future opportunities
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferable in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- More than 5 years of experience in Electrical /Automation industry with strong network within Semiconductor, F&B or Factory segment
- Broad understanding on end user and segment approach and ability to work across function and team
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
- Willing to travel 30%
