**What you will do in this role**:

- Prepares and/reviews income tax computation and income tax return in accordance to relevant tax legislations and regulations;
- Identifying and driving improvement projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness of tax computation/tax return preparation processes;
- Liaising with various internal teams, clients and tax agents in relation to the tax computation and income tax return;
- Provision of regular tax updates and internal/support to internal teams;
- Evaluate impact of tax legislation/regulations/cases changes on clients and internal support/advice to internal teams;
- Assist clients in ad-hoc tax compliance matters.

**To be successful in this role**:

- Recognised Bachelor’s degree or professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in tax work.
- Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax legislations, regulations, public rulings and guidelines (both direct and indirect tax).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to comprehend complex transactions and provide solutions
- Detailed-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Literacy in other languages is welcomed
- Good leadership and people skills
- Mature and pleasant personality and a team player
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Conversant with MS Office
- Experience in ERP system eg. SAP is welcomed
