About the role

As a Finance Analyst, you will participate in month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity’s results. You will collaborate within the team and stakeholders from other functions (e.g., P&F, Market Finance, P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure accurate financial results for a successful month-end close.

Role Responsibilities
- Participate in month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity’s results. Responsible in the preparation and review of journal entries, preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and execution of internal control in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework
- Provide Record to Report support and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and resolve general accounting and reporting issues.
- Review of monthly Balance Sheet schedules & reconciliation where required. Liaise with respective stakeholders of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, specifically open items.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g., P&F, Market Finance, P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close
- Responsible for the financial reporting of the designated legal entities.
- Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, cost centre checks and transaction posting checks. Able to identify unusual movements and perform variance analysis, working closely with Market Finance team to understand the story behind the numbers.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job trainings to analyst members within the team. Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer; sharing of resource, knowledge and experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained through any staff transition.
- Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries.

- Why you?_

Basic Qualifications:

- Degree in Finance / Accounting (with CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of audit / general ledger / financial reporting experience including areas on financial accounting, reporting and statutory filing, master data maintenance, treasury, asset accounting, inter-company transactions, etc.
- Experience in working in commercial and shared service centre in financial accounting or mixture with auditing experiences.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to plan and manage workload, fully committed in meeting key deadlines
- Self-motivated and accountable on the deliverables produced
- Curious and inquisitive, proactively strive to continuously improve the current processes and practices
