Chizu is a new cafe in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, that offers a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as delicious pastries and cakes. We are a **Japanese lifestyle cafe** that specializes in **premium croissant and coffee**, inspired by the aesthetics and culture of Japan. We aim to bring happiness and joy to our customers in an inspiring and relaxing space.

We are looking for a full-time or part-time baker who can prepare and create different types of croissants and pastries, following our recipes and standards. You will also be responsible for decorating and finishing our baked goods, as well as serving them to our customers.

As a baker at Chizu, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing ingredients and mixing dough or batter for baking
- Baking different bread types, like croissants, baguettes and multigrain breads
- Decorating and finishing baked goods with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings, like flowers
- Serving customer by suggestive selling & upselling
- Keeping the baking area clean and stocked
- Maintaining the baking equipment and reporting any issues
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our menu and service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Internship

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 45 per week
