Position : QA Technician / QC Inspector Report to : QA Executive Responsibilities: ï‚- Carry out incoming and in-process inspection of materials and products. ï‚- Train and guide operator in product quality checking. ï‚- Ensure all the checking / testing equipment is in good running condition. ï‚- Prepare inspection report. ï‚- Ensure all specifications are complied with after job change. ï‚- Issue Corrective / Prevention Report (CPAR) for out of specification products if necessary. ï‚- Control of non-conformance products for in-coming, in-process and pre-delivery inspection. ï‚- Arrange sorting or recovery job for the non conformance products. ï‚- Assist the QA Executive in the control of IMTE and other quality control activities of the Company. ï‚- Undertake other duties assigned by superior from time to time. Authorities: ï‚- To stop production when the non-conformance products were detected. Competency Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): ï‚- Having knowledge, skills and abilities in reading, writing and mathematics ï‚- Having knowledge of various products manufactured in company. ï‚- Having knowledge of various materials used in company ï‚- Having basic knowledge of process control and machine functions. ï‚- Able to identify and differentiate various materials used for the production. ï‚- Able to identify and differentiate various products manufactured in company. ï‚- Able to read product specification. ï‚- Having skills and abilities in product checking and measurement. ï‚- Able to prepare products checking report. ï‚- Able to differentiate minor defects from major and critical defects. ï‚- Able to identify non-conformance products oriented. ï‚- Good reporting and documentation skills. ï‚- Good in communication skills. ï‚- Good quality sense. ï‚- Must not be colour blind
