**Goals**:
**Efficient Sourcing**: Efficiently and creatively source high-quality items and services within budget and time constraints

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Event Procurement**:

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to provide necessary goods and services for events, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Liaise with contractors and vendors to coordinate deliveries, services, and ensure compliance with event timelines and standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain strong working relationships.
- **Creative Problem-Solving**:

- Develop out-of-the-box solutions to meet unique event needs, including sourcing uncommon items or services.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovative products that could enhance event experiences.
- **Budget Management**:

- Manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
- Track expenditures and provide reports on procurement activities and cost savings.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier evaluations.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- **Creativity**: Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to meet unique procurement challenges.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Technological Proficiency**: Experience with AI tools and a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- **Agility**: Capacity to think and work swiftly in a dynamic environment.

**Performance Metrics (Scorecard)**:

- **Procurement Efficiency**: Timely acquisition of required goods and services within budget constraints.
- **Vendor Performance**: Quality and reliability of suppliers, measured through feedback and compliance with agreements.
- **Cost Savings**: Achievement of cost reductions through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
- **Innovation Implementation**: Successful introduction of creative solutions that enhance event execution and attendee experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
