What you'll be doing?
  • Manage Supplier Relationships - Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, especially Mandarin-speaking vendors across Malaysia and Asia-Pacific.
  • Oversee Supply Chain Operations - Handle inventory management, logistics coordination, and ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.
  • Optimize Procurement Costs - Analyze market trends, negotiate favorable terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure Food Safety Compliance - Work closely with suppliers to ensure all products meet food safety regulations and quality requirements.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels - Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste, manage stock levels, and forecast demand.
  • Lead Procurement Team - Guide and develop the procurement team, establishing best practices and policies for efficient operations.
  • Generate Performance Reports - Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Who are they looking for?
  • Minimum 5 years of experience - Minimum 5 years of procurement and supply chain experience within the F&B industry.
  • Degree or above - Degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficient in Mandarin - Proficiency in Mandarin language is essential for effective communication with suppliers.
  • Technical Skills - Proficient in procurement systems, inventory management, and MS Excel with strong analytical abilities.
